Perched above the coastline of Newport on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Ripple Effect explores how thoughtful design can influence the way a home is experienced—where a series of carefully considered interventions create a home that feels more connected, intuitive and complete.

Respecting the character of the original bungalow, the design reimagines the home's planning to unlock significantly greater functionality and flexibility within the existing footprint. A new master ensuite, relocated family bathroom, integrated bunk room, expansive wrap-around kitchen and bespoke joinery work together to create a richer sequence of living spaces, while the upper balcony is seamlessly connected to the heart of the home. Below, the lower level is transformed through a new laundry, bathroom and formal secondary entrance, extending the home's usability for family and guests alike.

The result is a timeless renovation where each carefully resolved intervention strengthens the whole, creating a home that feels calmer, more connected and enduring.
